Inclement Weather Reminder
The Home Education Exchange follows the Shoreline School District’s procedure. Late arrival is typically one and half hours, for HEE it will mean 10:00 AM classes will start on time, unless posted otherwise on WINGS. District closure will also apply to HEE. Always check WINGS before you come in for an early class.
Sorry, No Dogs at HEE
As a family friendly organization we have, in the past, welcomed these canine members of our families. However, we have a couple of members who are VERY allergic to dogs so in deference to the health of our people friends we will have to change our policy. Please let Fido know it’s not personal.
Highly Capable Program Testing for Grades 2-5
Students currently enrolled in the Home Education Exchange in grades 2-5 who are not currently being served by the program will be tested on January 16 & 23. Parents interested in nominating their child to be assessed for program eligibility will be able to self-register online at www.shorelineschools.org. Click onto Programs/Highly Capable/Announcements. If you have any questions, please contact Trudi Grimes. Deadline to sign-up for the testing is Friday, December 4th.
Food Lifeline Service Field Trip
This is a great opportunity to jump start the holiday spirit! If you can come and help let us know right away, email the office (turdi.grimes@shorelineschools.org) by Monday, November 23.
