Help: Date Input
In order to allow for efficient and accurate data entry, WINGS now accepts dates in a variety of formats.
The following dates are always treated as January 2nd, 2003:
- 20030102
- 2003-01-02
- 2003-1-2
- 2003/1/02
- 2003.01.02
- 02 Jan 2003
- 02-Jan-03
- Jan 2 2003
- January 2nd, 2003
The following dates will be treated as either January 2nd, 2003 (American date format) or February 1st, 2003 (European date format), based on your preferences: (or site setup, if you're not logged in.)
You can also use dates like the following:
- 01/02/2003
- 01.02.2003
- 01-02-03
All of the above dates will be treated either as January 2nd, 2003 or February 1st, 2003.
There is also a few special case 'dates' you can use, shown by example
- Today (or Tod)
-
- Today's date
- Yesterday (or Yes)
- Yesterday's date
- Tomorrow (or Tom)
- Tomorrow's date
- Tu, Tue, Tues, Tuesd, Tuesda, or Tuesday.
- Tuesday of the current week.
- This Monday.
- Monday of the current week. (The "This" is optional)
- Next Fri
- Friday of next week. Note: If today is Thursday, "Next Fri" isn't tomorrow, it's the Friday after tomorrow. Use with care.
- Last Wed
- Wednesday of last week. Note: If today is Thursday, "Last Wed" isn't yesterday, it's the Wednesday of the week prior. Use with care.
- Tuesday of 02-Jan-03
- Date of the Tuesday that is in the same week as January 2nd, 2003
