High resolution electron microscopy and slick animations demonstrate the mechanics of HIV infection, allergy and mite interactions, how antibodies are made, bacterial motility, ulcer-causing bacteria, how lymphocytes kill infected cells, etc. Video clips require QuickTime or AVI.

All K-10 students at the H.O.M.E. Program are registered to use DreamBox. It is a pretty cool adaptive math program that feels like a video game and is based on the Common Core State Standards. Parents have access to a Parent Dashboard. The math level goes up to 8th grade.

This is where students can login to use any electronic materials from the King County Library System, even if they don't have a library card. They need to use their student ID number with 403 in front of it. Some of the databases ask you to register, but there are no fees or late charges.

FunBrain.com, an award-winning interactive learning and "edutainment Web site" links K-8 children, parents, and teachers together with its fun math baseball game that you can play by yourself or with friends. It gives you a choice of math problems and the level you want to practice. Click on the Games icon for other games available through their site, some going up to grade 12, age seventeen.
